Playalinda Beach (Boardwalk 13)
Nude Beach in Titusville (Canaveral National Seashore), Florida, United States
The northern end of Playalinda Beach in Canaveral National Seashore, at parking area and boardwalk 13, where people have sunbathed nude since before the seashore was created in 1975. A long, wild Atlantic beach backed by dunes, with views of the Kennedy Space Center launch pads. The legal position is unclear: Brevard County bans public nudity, but enforcement on this federal land has been rare and a park sign warns that nude sunbathing may be encountered. Nudity is tolerated rather than officially permitted, and that can change.
Getting there
Drive to the last lot (13) at the north end of Playalinda Beach Road east of Titusville, then take the boardwalk over the dunes.
