Small bay just around the corner from Taylors Mistake beach at the south-eastern edge of Christchurch, used by skinny-dippers. It loses the sun earlier in the afternoon than the main beach, where clothed and nude visitors usually mix without trouble. New Zealand has no official nude beaches: the law targets obscene exposure and offensive behaviour, and courts have held that simple nudity on a beach where it is known to occur is not offensive. Be discreet and considerate.
