Rocky outcrop with a sandy swimming area beside the rocks, between Silver Strand and Barna village, about 6 km west of Galway city. Naturists have used it for many years and the INA hopes it may one day be signed clothing optional. About 120 m long. Mapped within about 400 m: parking, a bus stop and places to eat or drink. Ireland has no officially designated naturist beaches: this is an informal spot where the Irish Naturist Association says nude bathing is tolerated, so pick a quiet stretch away from families and other visitors, and cover up if asked.

R336 west from Galway; walk from Silver Strand or Barna village.
