Long beach on the western side of Mullaghmore Head in north Sligo, without services. The INA calls it one of the most popular naturist beaches in Ireland; naturists use the quieter northern and southern ends, especially on weekdays. Beware of strong currents. Mapped within about 400 m: parking. Ireland has no officially designated naturist beaches: this is an informal spot where the Irish Naturist Association says nude bathing is tolerated, so pick a quiet stretch away from families and other visitors, and cover up if asked.
Getting there
N15 to Cliffony, then the R279 towards Mullaghmore and a small left turn; park by the football pitch and cross the dunes.
