Strunjan naturist beach below Beli Križ

Nude Beach in Strunjan / Strugnano, Piran / Pirano, Slovenia

Narrow pebble beach at the foot of the flysch cliffs of Strunjan Landscape Park, below the Beli Križ (White Cross) viewpoint and near Moon Bay (Mesečev zaliv); the cliffs here, up to 80 m high, are the tallest on the Adriatic. Naturists have long used this stretch and the federation lists it among its informal naturist corners. The beach is reached only on foot and has no facilities. It lies in a protected area, so leave no trace and keep away from the base of the crumbling cliffs. About 180 m long. Mapped within about 400 m: parking, a bus stop and places to eat or drink. This is an informal spot where naturists are tolerated, not a signposted naturist beach: clothed visitors pass by too, so stay discreet and respect people who keep their swimwear on.

Getting there

Walk from Strunjan along the coast or take the steep path down from Beli Križ; allow 30-45 minutes from Strunjan.
