Sava naturist gravel banks (Jožetove terase), Ljubljana
Nude Beach in Slovenia
Gravel and pebble banks of the Sava on the northern edge of Ljubljana, between the Črnuče bridge and Gameljne, listed by the Slovenian naturist federation as a place where naturists sunbathe undisturbed. The sun terraces here, known as Jože's terraces, were built on the initiative of a member of the Ljubljana naturist movement. There are no facilities; the Sava is cold and its current can be strong. About 210 m long. Mapped within about 400 m: parking. This is an informal spot where naturists are tolerated, not a signposted naturist beach: clothed visitors pass by too, so stay discreet and respect people who keep their swimwear on.
Getting there
Follow the riverside paths upstream from the Črnuče bridge on the Sava; the banks are a short walk below the path.
