Long surf beach in Tomaree National Park near One Mile, Port Stephens, backed by big sand dunes; one of the five beaches where NSW law protects nude bathing. Good for surfing and whale watching in season, with a clothing-optional national-park campground behind the dunes. About 1.6 km long. Lies within Tomaree National Park. No parking, food or toilets are mapped within about 400 m, so come prepared.
Getting there
4WD access via Gan Gan Road and the Samurai Beach access trail.
Local rules
Clothing is required in the dunes, the bushland and on neighbouring One Mile Beach.
