Sheltered cove below the bluffs between Avila Beach and Shell Beach in San Luis Obispo County, a clothing-optional beach by long tradition. The county is buying the land to make it a public park with new parking, toilets and a trail to Shell Beach, and has said the beach will stay clothing-optional; past complaints about behaviour near the parking lot led to sheriff patrols. Reached by a steep path from the dirt car park on Cave Landing Road.
