Nude Beach in Manawatū-Whanganui, New Zealand
Secluded black-sand beach about 20 km north-west of Whanganui, reached by a fenced gravel track through farmland. The nude area is a 300 to 400 m walk north-west around the point visible from the clifftop car park exit; some prefer the south-east. New Zealand has no official nude beaches: the law targets obscene exposure and offensive behaviour, and courts have held that simple nudity on a beach where it is known to occur is not offensive. Be discreet and considerate.
