Muir Beach in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Marin County. The small cove at its northern end, separated from the main beach by a line of large rocks, is informally regarded as clothing-optional; the main beach is clothed. Parking and toilets at the main beach. Sneaker waves and rip currents are common.
