Kehena Beach
Nude Beach in Puna, Hawaii, United States
Small black-sand beach in Puna on the Big Island, formed by a 1955 lava flow and shaded by coconut palms. Long described as clothing-optional, but nudity is not legal on Hawaii beaches and police have written citations here. Spinner dolphins often visit. A steep, rocky ten-minute path leads down from the roadside parking; surf can be strong.
