Haulover Beach (clothing-optional section)
Nude Beach in Miami Beach, Florida, United States
The best-known nude beach in the United States: the northern part of Haulover Park's Atlantic beach, between Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles, roughly between lifeguard towers 12 and 16. Naturists of South Florida Free Beaches started using it in 1991, and Miami-Dade County has marked it with permanent clothing-optional signs since 1993. Wide sand, warm water and a relaxed, mixed crowd of locals, couples, families and visitors from around the world. County lifeguards are on duty and there is a food and umbrella-rental concession.
Getting there
Paid parking in the Haulover Park lots on the west side of Collins Avenue; walk through the tunnels under the road to the beach.
Local rules
Clothing optional only inside the signed section; cover up before leaving the beach. No photography of others.
