Part of the long sandy strand at Curracloe north of Wexford town, backed by dunes and the Raven Wood nature reserve. Naturists use the stretch towards the woods, but it is a popular family beach and local councillors have objected to nude bathing, so discretion is needed at weekends and in peak summer. Ireland has no officially designated naturist beaches: this is an informal spot where the Irish Naturist Association says nude bathing is tolerated, so pick a quiet stretch away from families and other visitors, and cover up if asked.
