Tapotupotu Bay

Plage naturiste – Northland, Nouvelle-Zélande

Sandy bay near Cape Reinga at the top of the North Island, more than 100 km from Kaitaia, with a Department of Conservation campsite. Clothed visitors stay near the road, which reaches the bay about halfway round; skinny-dippers walk to the left, across the creek and past the rock formation that divides the bay. New Zealand has no official nude beaches: the law targets obscene exposure and offensive behaviour, and courts have held that simple nudity on a beach where it is known to occur is not offensive. Be discreet and considerate.
