Pärnu Women's Beach (Naisterand)

Women-only section of Pärnu's main sandy beach, kept since the 1920s, when the beach was split into ladies', gentlemen's and mixed parts. Women still sunbathe nude here undisturbed. In 2011 the Chancellor of Justice found that the signs barring men have no legal basis, but the city has kept the tradition and the women's beach is still in use. Wikipedia also reports an unofficial, tolerated mixed nude stretch between the main beach and the mouth of the Pärnu River. The pin marks the Naisterand bus stop by the beach.
