Lake Willoughby south beach

Sandy cove at the southern end of Lake Willoughby, a deep glacial lake between Mount Pisgah and Mount Hor in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Nude swimming and sunbathing are traditionally practised on this shore; it is not officially designated, and the main South Beach next to it is used by everyone. Clear, cold water and dramatic cliffs; the Willoughby State Forest trails start nearby.
