Dovbychka nude beach (Trukhaniv Island)

Plage naturiste – Dniprovskyi district, Kyiv, Ukraine

Kyiv's largest and best-known nude beach: a broad, sandy shore on the south-eastern tip of Trukhaniv Island in the Dnipro, in the wooded Dovbychka tract facing Hidropark. Nude and clothed bathers share the long beach, with a relaxed, mixed crowd. There is almost no infrastructure beyond a few old shelters, so it stays quiet and uncommercial. The tract is also historic: chroniclers place Lake Dolobske, where princes Volodymyr Monomakh and Sviatopolk gathered their armies in 1103, in this area. About 560 m long. Mapped within about 400 m: places to eat or drink, toilets and drinking water. Swim only where the local authorities have cleared the water for the season, and know where the nearest air-raid shelter is. Ukraine is under martial law; check current local safety guidance and air-raid alerts before visiting.

Accès

In summer a small boat ferries people across from the Hidropark side near the Venetian bridge (Hidropark metro station); otherwise walk across Trukhaniv Island from the Park Pedestrian Bridge from the city centre.
