Natural hot pools beside Deep Creek in the San Bernardino National Forest near Apple Valley. Clothing-optional by custom around the springs only; clothing is expected on the trail. The usual route is about 4 km each way from Bowen Ranch (private road, cash parking fee), with a steep, hot climb back. The Forest Service warns of Naegleria fowleri: keep your head above the water.
