Costinești traditional nude beach

Sandy stretch at the northern end of the Costinești beach, toward the wreck of the cargo ship Evangelia, which ran aground here in 1968 and is the resort's landmark. One of the best-known traditional naturist spots on the Romanian coast, used informally for decades; the resort itself is lively and popular with students in summer, while this end is calmer. About 440 m long. Mapped within about 400 m: places to eat or drink. Romania has no officially designated nude beaches: nudity here is tolerated by custom, not regulated, so keep to the established naturist stretch, stay discreet near clothed visitors and cover up if asked.
