Rocky cove at Kilkee in west Clare with a small pier and flat rocks for sunbathing; best at high tide. The cliff end of Kilkee has long been a traditional naturist spot. Ireland has no officially designated naturist beaches: this is an informal spot where the Irish Naturist Association says nude bathing is tolerated, so pick a quiet stretch away from families and other visitors, and cover up if asked.
