Beach on a small peninsula in Clew Bay, about 5 miles from Westport below Croagh Patrick. The eastern side of the peninsula, mostly stony, is the clothing-optional part; most visitors stay on the western side. Mapped within about 400 m: parking, places to eat or drink, toilets and a lifeguard post. Ireland has no officially designated naturist beaches: this is an informal spot where the Irish Naturist Association says nude bathing is tolerated, so pick a quiet stretch away from families and other visitors, and cover up if asked.
