Yyteri Beach (former naturist area)

Yyteri's long sandy beach and Natura 2000 dunes in Pori, one of Finland's best-known beaches. A designated mixed naturist area a few hundred metres wide, in the middle of the beach, was one of only two in the country until the city closed it in April 2021 after complaints. There is no official naturist area any more, but naturists still visit the quieter dune-side stretches informally. Stay on the marked paths, because the dunes are protected. Mapped within about 400 m: places to eat or drink, toilets, showers and a lifeguard post.
