Granite ledges on the Harriman Reservoir in southern Vermont, long the state's best-known clothing-optional swimming spot. Vermont law does not ban nudity as such, and nudity is customary beyond the signs past the picnic area, though the spot is not officially designated. Flat rock for sunbathing, cold clear water and a small sandy strip when the water is low; levels change with the hydro-electric operation. Primitive toilets at the picnic area, small car parks that fill on summer weekends, and poor mobile signal.
