Bredene naturist beach

FKK-Strand in Bredene-Bad, West Flanders, Belgien

Belgium's only official naturist beach, opened on 1 July 2001: a short stretch of sand at the foot of a protected dune reserve on the border between Bredene and De Haan, away from the busier beaches. Nudity is allowed on the beach from the weekend before Easter to mid-October, but not in the dunes, which are fenced off with posts and rope. Toilets, a shower and a beach bar are a short walk away, and a lifeguard post is staffed in July and August. Dogs are not allowed; swim only where the flags show a lifeguard on duty. About 310 m long. Mapped within about 400 m: places to eat or drink, toilets and showers.
