Sandy cove on the North Coast of Santa Cruz County, sheltered by cliffs and used as a nude beach for more than 50 years. Nudity is unofficial: the clothing-free area is the more secluded north end beyond the large flat-topped rock, and rangers can issue citations. Short, steep path down from the parking area on Highway 1 by Bonny Doon Road; strong surf and no facilities.
